M. E. Buckingham

British author. M. E. Buckingham is actually the pseudonym of Agnes Mary Easton. Under this name she wrote several children's books, although only two pony ones as far as I know. Both are set in exotic locations, although Phari is by far the most well-known of the pair.

Both books have very nice illustrations, inside and out, although are quite hard to find with their dust jackets.

Collectors info:
Phari is easy to find via internet bookshops and is not too expensive. It is also not too hard to track down in the USA, although usually more pricey. Zong is a little harder to find in both the UK and USA. Both are harder to find with good dust jackets and both are hard to find anywhere other than Britain and America.
